BIOGRAPHY
Armando Murillo Jr., was born and raised in Los Angeles, California to immigrant parents from Nayarit, Mexico. His mother has been a U.S. citizen for a long time and his father had to navigate the immigration laws and courts for more than ten years to finally having an immigration judge grant him his legal permanent residence in 2021.
During his undergraduate degree, he sought a career that gave him the ability to help and be a voice for members of his community. Armando knew that going into law was going to give him the tools he needed to succeed. Prior to going to law school, he interned with several immigration law firms.
During law school, Armando was a recipient of the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association Annual Scholarship, a highly competitive scholarship, and he also received academic honors.
Before founding his own law office, he worked for several years at various immigration law firms in San Diego and learned the nuances and intricacies of immigration law. In his free time, Armando enjoys working out, hiking, traveling, the beach, reading, and exploring new restaurants.
